Our customer who is a media company had a requirement to optimize their partners and customers Internet access to a publicly hosted bespoke web portal in London.
This web portal allows the download and upload of large media files. These media files contain advertisements and broadcasting information.
Due to the nature of the business, these customers and partners have to meet stringent deadlines with regards to issuing and receiving the content so it is paramount they have the technologies in place to assist in for filling the project timescales.
The media file sizes can range anywhere between 25mb - 500mb.
The challenge for these roaming mobile MAC users primarily based in ASIAPAC is on occasions they can have limited bandwidth but need the ability to be able to quickly upload and download the media files to for fill advertising project deadlines.
