These stats will improve as our centralisation continues. If the reduction rates continue to be so healthy we will complete our centralisation without any WAN bandwidth increases.

Earlier this year we completed the commissioning of a replacement DMS. With SH appliances in each of our 5 offices we were able to centralise this new document management system to our head office, along with all user document library’s.

Centralisation would not have been feasible without WAN optimisation, both in respect to bandwidth charges and application performance.

96% reduction LAN to WAN from the head office (document downloads, server to client) with a 25.55X capacity increase is well beyond expectations. Equally WAN to LAN at the head office (new files & saved edits, client to server upload) is showing an impressive 62% reduction for client side SH's for what is both cold and common data.

A very successful result for a core business critical application.
