Pass Through is controller by the in path rules and can be configured like any access-list for specific subnets, IP addresses, and protocols. It is configured on the client-side Riverbed as it initiates the TCP session.

I'm looking at the documentation for Pass-Through and have a question:
The doc states "Pass-Through. Pass-through rules identify traffic that is passed through the network unoptimized. You define pass-through rules to exclude subnets from optimization"
Can specific hosts instead of entire subnets be setup for pass-through ?
Does the rule need to be set on each Steelhead or just the one on the specific hosts end ?
Thanks
